INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 10-10) lost 10-9 to Charlotte (White Sox). The Indians led 7-2 after six and a half innings before giving up eight straight runs. Indianapolis was unable to make up for the three-run difference despite scoring twice in the ninth. 1B Will Craig (.236) finished 3 for 5 at the plate with a two-run homer in the fifth. CF Trayvon Robinson (.391) went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. LHP Brandon Waddell (0-1, 7.20) recorded the loss after allowing two runs in the seventh. OF Lonnie Chisenhall (.176) went 1 for 2 in his fifth rehab game with the Indians in the designated hitter spot. 2B Kevin Kramer (.195) went 2 for 3 with an RBI replacing Chisenhall after two at-bats.

Next: Saturday at Charlotte, 7:04 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 10-10) won 7-0 over Richmond (Giants). RHP James Marvel (3-1, 1.52) earned the win, throwing seven scoreless innings with three strikeouts, two walks and four hits. 3B Hunter Owen (.309) went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. LF Logan Hill (.250) also drove in two runs. 2B Mitchell Tolman (.214) hit a double and a triple.

Next: Saturday vs. Richmond, 4 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 14-8) defeated Daytona (Reds), 4-3. Two Marauder runs came on solo homers from 2B Robbie Glendinning (.313) and RF Cal Mitchell (.275). 1B Lucas Tancas (.262) hit two doubles. RHP Aaron Shortridge (3-0, 1.93) allowed three runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and two walks in five innings en route to victory.

Next: Saturday at Daytona, 7:05 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 12-9) lost 9-8 to Hagerstown (Nationals). The Grasshoppers almost completed a five-run comeback with four eighth-inning runs after trailing 9-4 in the seventh. RF Brett Kinneman (.143) and LF Lolo Sanchez (.324) each knocked in two runs with Sanchez’s RBIs coming on a two-run homer in the fourth. RHP Steven Jennings (1-3, 7.89) was tabbed with loss, allowing five runs on three innings with four strikeouts.

Next: Saturday at Hagerstown, 4:05 p.m.
