INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 13-11) lost 7-6 to Columbus (Indians). RHP Clay Holmes (2-1, 5.93) blew the Indians’ 6-5 lead, giving up two ninth-inning runs on two hits and two walks. Holmes pitch 1 1/3 innings with a strikeout. RHP Eduardo Vera (0-2, 4.85) threw six innings with six strikeouts in a no-decision. RF Eric Wood (.172) hit a two-run homer, which was part of a three-run seventh that got the Indians within a run. CF Trayvon Robinson (.386) and LF Kevin Kramer (.292) each hit a double.

Next: Wednesday vs. Columbus, 1:35 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 12-12) won 5-3 over Erie (Tigers). The Curve scored four sixth-inning runs after trailing, 2-1. Run-scoring doubles from LF Bralin Jackson (.220) and DH Logan Hill (.241) was followed by a two-run homer from 3B Hunter Owen (.313). RHP Scooter Hightower (1-2, 4.63) picked up the win after allowing just one earned run in six innings with two strikeouts and two walks. RHP Matt Eckelman (1-0, 4.00) earned his fouth save this season.

Next: Wednesday vs. Erie, 10:30 a.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 17-8) defeated Jupiter (Marlins), 8-1. The Marauder pitchers held the Hammerheads to four hits. RHP Cody Bolton (4-0, 0.96) picked up the win after allowing just a run in six innings with six strikeouts and a walk. RHP Hunter Stratton (3-0, 1.20) struck out five batters in two scoreless innings. RF Cal Mitchell (.290) went 3 for 4 with three RBIs. 3B Dylan Busby (.229) had a double and two RBIs.

Next: Wednesday at Jupiter, 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 15-9) won 9-7 over Rome (Braves). The Grasshoppers hit three home runs and scored four runs in the fourth and seventh innings. 2B Rodolfo Castro (.258) was responsible for two homers, including a three-run shot in the fourth. Castro finished 2 for 3 with four RBIs and three runs. 3B Raul Siri (.400) hit the other home run, a solo shot in the fourth, finishing 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs. RHP Brad Case (3-1, 2.20) recorded the win, throwing six innings with three strikeouts and three earned runs allowed.
