INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 0-3) lost 7-4 to Columbus (Indians). OF/DH Eric Wood (.250) and CF Bryan Reynolds (.273) both hit home runs. RHP Alex McRae (0-1, 7.71) recorded seven strikeouts in a losing effort with three walks and four earned runs.

Next: Sunday at Columbus, 2:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 3-0) defeated Akron (Indians), 2-0. RHP Beau Sulser (1-0, 0.00) earned the victory on the mound after throwing 21/3 scoreless innings with a strikeout. SS Robbie Glendinning (.500) and DH Logan Hill (.125) each drove in a run for the Curve.

Next: Sunday at Akron, 2:05 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 3-0) won 4-2 over St. Lucie (Mets). C Elias Diaz (.400) went 2 for 2 with two doubles and two RBIs. RF Calvin Mitchell (.417) went 1 for 4 with a solo home run. RHP Hunter Stratton (1-0, 0.00) struck out four and walked one in 32/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up his first win this season. RHP Joel Cesar (0-0, 0.00) earned his second save after throwing two scoreless innings with two strikeouts.

Next: Sunday at St. Lucie, 1 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 2-1) lost 6-5 to Hagerstown (Nationals). CF Lolo Sanchez (.222) went 2 for 3 at the plate, hitting a three-run homer in the second inning to give the Grasshoppers an early 3-0 lead. RF Brett Kinneman (.500) and 2B Rodolfo Castro (.417) also recorded two hits. RHP Nick Mears (0-1, 16.20) earned the loss despite striking out three in 12/3 innings of relief.

Next: Sunday vs. Hagerstown, 2 p.m.
