INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 5-3) won 9-2 over Charlotte (White Sox). The Indians scored five runs in the third inning and three in the fourth to gain a 8-1 advantage. 1B Will Craig (.290) highlighted the third inning with a two-run homer. He finished 2 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs, scoring one after stealing home. LF Trayvon Robinson (.526) had four hits for a second consecutive game with two doubles, two triples and two RBIs with a stolen base. RHP Alex McRae (1-1, 3.38) earned the victory throwing six innings with five strikeouts, two hits and no earned runs.

Next: Saturday vs. Charlotte (White Sox), 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 6-2) Friday’s game against Akron (Indians) was postponed because of rain. The game will be made up tomorrow as part of a doubleheader. RHP Scooter Hightower (0-0, 3.00) is the Curve’s expected starting pitcher for Game 1. RHP Pedro Vasquez (1-0, 1.50) is expected to start game two.

Next: Saturday doubleheader vs. Akron, game one at 3 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 6-3) lost 8-6 to Dunedin. The Marauders allowed five runs in the first inning and three in the fifth. RHP Max Kranick (0-1, 7.71) was on the hook for the loss after allowing four runs on one hit while getting only two outs before being pulled. 3B Dylan Busby (.211) went 3 for 3 with two home runs, a double and three RBIs to keep Bradenton within striking distance despite the early five-run deficit.

Next: Saturday vs. Dunedin, 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 4-5) lost 5-3 to Charleston (Yankees). RHP Alex Manasa (0-0, 3.72) did not record a decision despite tallying 11 strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings with just one earned run allowed his first start this season. RHP Logan Stoelke (0-2, 9.00) earned the defeat after giving up two runs in the eighth, breaking a 3-3 tie. Stoelke did, however, strikeout three batters, but also walked two in his lone inning pitched. SS Ji-Hwan Bae (.250) and LF Lolo Sanchez (.280) each hit a triple. 2B Rodolfo Castro (.250) and C Grant Koch (.087) both doubled once.
