INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 41-37) fell to Gwinnett (Braves), 8-1. RHP Yefry Ramierez (1-3, 4.24) allowed five runs in 4 1/3 innings in the loss. He struck out six, walked one and gave up four hits. CF Jason Martin (.232) drove in the Indians’ run with a double in the fifth inning. SS Erik Gonzalez (.000) went 0 for 3 in his first rehab game. Gonzalez has been on the 60-day injured list since April 20 with a left clavicle fracture after colliding with Starling Marte. Next: Saturday at Gwinnett, 6:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 40-36) lost 7-5 to Binghamton (Mets). SS Robbie Glendinning (.348) went 3 for 5 with a fifth-inning RBI double. CF Jared Olivia (.234) was 2 for 5 with a double and two RBIs. RHP Angel German (2-1, 4.50) picked up the loss after allowing two runs, including the go-ahead score, in the top of the ninth inning. RHP Pedro Vasquez (6-1, 2.24 in Altoona) went six innings in a no-decision with seven strikeouts and two runs allowed on six hits. Next: Saturday doubleheader vs. Binghamton, game one at 4:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 40-36) was postponed due to rain at Fort Myers (Twins). The game is to be made up Saturday as part of a doubleheader. RHP Nicholas Economos (2-3, 2.75 in Bradenton) is expected to start Game 1.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 49-29) won 5-2 over Lakewood (Phillies). The Grasshoppers scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning to come from behind and secure the victory. CF Jonah Davis (.135) a hit three-run double in a four-run ninth inning to break a 2-2 tie and put the Grasshoppers ahead. RHP Yerry De Los Santos (3-0, 1.69) got the win after throwing two innings of relief with four strikeouts and a run allowed on two hits. RHP Colin Selby (3-2, 3.42) started and went. He struck out two, walked two and gave up three hits in a no-decision. RHP Will Gardner (2-0, 0.83) recorded his third save. Next: Saturday at Lakewood, 7:05 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 7-7) lost 8-3 to Williamsport (Phillies). RHP Michael Burrows (1-1, 5.91) took the loss, lasting 1 2/3 innings. He allowed six runs allowed on five hits, walking four walks. LF Blake Sabol (.200) and DH Matt Gorski (.227) each doubled once and drove in a run. Next: Saturday vs. Williamsport, 7:05 p.m.
