INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 28-20) lost 9-4 to Charlotte (White Sox). RHP Eduardo Vera (3-4, 6.41) allowed seven earned runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings. Vera had two strikeouts and a walk. SS Pablo Reyes (.219) hit a two-run homer in the third inning. 1B Will Craig (.270) had a solo shot in the seventh. He has 15 home runs and 38 RBIs this season. LF J.B. Shuck (.393) went 1 for 4 with a double. 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes (.249) hit his 19th double.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 23-26) was did not end in time for this edition because of a rain delay. RHP James Marvel (4-5, 3.81) is expected to start on the mound for the Curve on Wednesday night.

BRADENTON (High-A, 29-21) won 8-5 over Lakeland (Tigers). The Marauders trailed 4-2 after three innings before scoring four runs in the seventh inning and two in eighth. LF Chris Sharpe (.261) his a grand slam — his fifth home run of the season — in the seventh inning. SS Robbie Glendinning (.311) hit his 12th double and batted in a run. RHP Max Kranick (3-5, 4.84) got the win after striking out seven in seven innings with four runs allowed on six hits, including two home runs.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 34-17) fell to Hickory (Rangers), 4-3. RHP Brad Case (7-1, 2.21) went 5 1/3 innings with four strikeouts and two runs allowed on three hits in a no-decision. RHP Conner Loeprich (1-2, 3.65) was tabbed with the loss after blowing a save, allowing the tying and winning runs in the eighth on two hits. CF Fabricio Macias (.269) was 2 for 4 with solo homer in the eighth to put the Grasshoppers ahead. It was his seventh home run and 27th RBI this season.
