INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 32-22) won 7-6 in 10 innings against Louisville (Reds). The Indians scored the tying run in the top of the ninth inning. 2B Jake Elmore (.388) doubled to center field, scoring LF Pablo Reyes (.214) to tie the score 6-6 in the ninth. CF Jason Martin (.248) followed with a double to center in the tenth, scoring RF Nick Franklin (.175) for the go-ahead run. RF J.B. Shuck (.357) went 2 for 3 with a fourth-inning two-run homer and four RBIs. RHP Dovydas Neverauskas (1-0, 1.50) earned the win, pitching the final three innings without allowing a run with four strikeouts, a walk and a hit surrendered. RHP Eduardo Vera (3-4, 6.56) went 52/3 innings in a no decision with five runs given up on seven hits, three strikeouts and two walks.

Next: Tuesday at Louisville, 7 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 25-29) won 9-8 over Erie (Tigers), scoring five runs in the top of the ninth inning, six unanswered runs and eight runs in the last three innings. 3B Hunter Owen (.309) homered the tying run on a three-run blast to left-center field. RF Bligh Madris (.242) homered in the winning run on a fly ball to right. Owen finished 2 for 5 with a triple and three runs scored. C Adren Pabst (.218) went 2 for 5 with a two-run homer in the seventh to ignite Altoona’s late scoring. RHP James Marvel (4-5, 3.92) went 51/3 innings in a no decision with three earned runs given up on nine hits and seven strikeouts. RHP Vicente Campos (2-2, 5.14) recorded the win after pitching a scoreless eighth inning.

Next: Tuesday at Erie, 10:35 a.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 33-23) defeated Daytona (Reds), 11-5. C Deon Stafford (.244) was 3 for 4 with a solo home run, four RBIs and two runs scored. LF-1B Lucas Tancas (.281) was 3 for 5 with an RBI and three runs scored. LHP Joe Jacques (1-0, 0.00) recorded the win after pitching three scoreless inning of relief with four strikeouts and a hit allowed. RHP Hunter Stratton (5-0, 1.82) struck out five and walked two in four innings with an earned run allowed on three hits in a no decision.

Next: Tuesday at Daytona, 7:05 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 37-19) fell 4-3 to Charleston (Yankees). The Grasshoppers managed to bat in just one of their runs as the other two came on a fielding error and a wild pitch. RF Fabricio Macias (.260) went 2 for 4 with an RBI double in the fifth inning to tie the score 3-3. RHP John O’Reilly (0-1, 1.88) recorded the loss despite allowing one run on two hits in three innings of relief. The lone run O’Reilly allowed was the winner. RHP Brad Case (7-1, 2.45) threw five innings with four strikeouts, a walk and three runs allowed on three hits in a no decision.

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 7-15) was idle. LHP John Havird (1-1, 4.50) is the probable starting pitcher Tuesday night for the Wild Things.
