INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 32-23) lost 7-6 to Louisville (Reds). The Indians fell behind 5-0 after two innings and trailed 7-2 after five before scoring four runs in the seventh, falling a run short of the tie. SS Jung-Ho Kang (.476) went 4 for 5 with two doubles and three RBIs. LF Corey Dickerson (.167) was 1 for 2 with an RBI and two walks. RF J.B. Shuck (.326) went 0 for 4. RHP Dario Agrazal (3-2, 2.55) recorded the loss after seven runs were scored against him, three earned, on seven hits in five innings. He also struck out four and walked two. RHP Michael Feliz (0-0, 1.38) threw two scoreless innings of relief with five strikeouts.

Next: Wednesday at Louisville, 7 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 26-29) shut out Erie (Tigers), 3-0 despite being outhit 8-5. Both CF Jared Olivia (.197) and C Jason Delay (.301) hit solo homers with Olivia’s coming in the fourth inning and Delay’s in the ninth. RHP Pedro Vaquez (4-1, 2.92) earned the win after pitching six scoreless innings with four strikeouts, a walk and five hits allowed. RHP Beau Sulser (4-0, 1.27) recorded a three-inning save with two strikeouts, three hits and no runs allowed. It was Sulser’s first save this season.

Next: Wednesday at Erie, 10:35 a.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 33-24) fell to Daytona (Reds), 6-1. 1B Lucas Tancas (.287) went 2 for 3 with two doubles and a run scored. RHP Samuel Reyes (0-1, 0.68 in Bradenton) picked up the loss after lasting three innings with a run allowed on three hits and two strikeouts.

Next: Wednesday at Daytona, 7:05 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 38-19) won 8-1 over Charleston (Yankees). LF Jack Herman (.400) was 2 for 4 with a two-run homer in the second inning and four RBIs. RHP Steven Jennings (4-5, 5.56) threw six innings without allowing an earned run to get the win, finishing with two strikeouts and two walks on 77 pitches.

Next: Wednesday vs. Charleston, noon

Independent

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 8-15) beat Southern Illinois, 11-2. Three Wild Things recorded three hits or more as 1B J.J. Fernandez (.305) went 4 for 5 with two doubles, a home run and three RBIs along with two runs scored. RF Hector Roa (.302) also drove in three runs as he went 3 for 5 with a home run and three runs scored. C Cody Erickson (.396) was a perfect 4 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored. LHP John Havird (2-1, 3.72) earned the victory in a seven-inning outing with two strikeouts, a walk and a run allowed on four hits.
