ALTOONA (Double-A, 22-25) lost 5-3 at Portland (Red Sox). CF Ryan Peurifoy (.083) went 2 for 4 with a solo home run in the third inning. The Curve scattered five hits. RHP Matt Eckelman (1-1, 5.06 ERA) earned the loss after going only one inning allowing five runs on six hits while striking out two and walking none.

BRADENTON (High-A, 27-21) won 2-1 at home against Tampa (Yankees). 1B Lucas Tancas (.289) hit a walkoff solo home run and a double earlier in the game.
