INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 29-20) won 2-0 over Charlotte (White Sox). The Indians scored two runs in the seventh inning on a line-drive RBI single from DH Jung-Ho Kang (.500) followed by an RBI sacrifice fly from 2B Kevin Kramer (.278). Kang finished 1 for 3 in his second game on rehab assignment since being placed on the 10-day injury list May 13 for a left side strain. LF Corey Dickerson (.176) went 1 for 4 with a double and a run scored in his fourth game in Indianapolis since being sent for rehab assignment May 24. Dickerson was transferred from the 10-day to 60-day injury list May 27. RHP Dario Agrazal (3-1, 2.17) threw six scoreless innings with five strikeouts, two walks and four hits surrendered to earn the victory. RHP Dovydas Neverauskas (0-0, 1.84) recorded his fifth save this season.

Next: Thursday vs. Charlotte, 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 23-27) was postponed because of rain. RHP James Marvel (4-5, 3.81) is the Curve’s expected starting pitcher for Game 1 Thursday evening.

Next: Thursday doubleheader at Trenton (Yankees), Game 1 at 5 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 30-21) defeated Lakeland (Tigers), 3-1. The Marauders scored their three runs on a homer by SS Robbie Glendinning (.314) in the third inning, driving in RF Cal Mitchell (.290) and LF Chris Sharpe (.264) in the process. RHP Hunter Stratton (5-0, 1.76) got the win after allowing just a run in 41/3 innings of relief with five strikeouts and two walks. RHP Samuel Reyes (1-0, 0.00) pitched the first three innings without giving up a hit or run with three strikeouts and a walk. RHP Logan Stoelke (0-4, 4.91) recorded his second save this season.

Next: Thursday vs. Lakeland, 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 34-17) was idle. RHP Steven Jennings (2-5, 6.11) is expected to start on the mound Thursday night for the Grasshoppers.

Next: Thursday vs. Lakewood (Phillies), 7 p.m.

Independent

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 4-13) was late. LHP Nick Wegmann (1-2, 3.30) is expected to start on the mound Thursday evening for the Wild Things.
