Pirates-Reds game postponed due to weather, will play split doubleheader on Sunday

The Pittsburgh Pirates postponed Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds because of expected inclement weather, the first game postponed at PNC Park this season.

The Pirates-Reds game will be made up Sunday as part of a split doubleheader, their first since Sept. 4, 2020. They will play their scheduled game at 1:35 p.m. Sunday, with the second game expected to start at 6:05 p.m. Mitch Keller will start Game 1 for the Pirates, with Andre Jackson starting Game 2.

The Pirates said tickets for Saturday’s game are good for the same seats for the second game Sunday or can be exchanged for any remaining home game this season, subject to availability.
