Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds leaves the field with manager Clint Hurdle after being injured during a game against the Diamondbacks Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at PNC Park.

The Pittsburgh Pirates lost another outfielder Tuesday night when rookie center fielder Bryan Reynolds left the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at PNC Park after singling to right field. He injured his left quad while running to first base.

Reynolds, who has six hits in 12 at-bats since joining the team Saturday to replace Starling Marte, is the sixth Pirates outfielder this season to lose playing time due to an injury.

Gregory Polanco (shoulder) came off the injured list Monday, but Lonnie Chisenhall (finger), Jose Osuna (neck), Corey Dickerson (shoulder) and Marte (abdomen and rib) remain inactive. Overall, 14 Pirates have been on the IL this season; nine are still on it.

Rookie Jason Martin replaced Reynolds and played centerfield for the first time this season.
