The Pittsburgh Pirates will play 31 games during the 2024 spring training season, including 16 at their home base, LECOM Park in Bradenton, Fla., according to the schedule released Tuesday by team officials.

The first game is Feb. 24 in Fort Myers, Fla., against the Minnesota Twins. Three of the next four games will be at LECOM, starting with the home opener Feb. 25 against the Baltimore Orioles.

The Pirates’ only spring home game against the Philadelphia Phillies will be March 10. The team will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on March 17 with a home game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Boston Red Sox’s only visit to LECOM will be March 23. That will be followed the next day by the New York Yankees’ only game at LECOM.

Spring training concludes at home March 25 against the Toronto Blue Jays.
