Tuesday’s game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers was postponed because of the forecast of inclement weather.

It has been rescheduled as a traditional doubleheader, with the first game beginning at 12:40 p.m. and the second game starting approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1.

Per the Tigers, the only tickets valid for the doubleheader will be those for Wednesday’s game, which originally was scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Fans with tickets for Tuesday’s game can exchange their tickets for Wednesday’s doubleheader or for a future 2024 regular-season game of similar value.

The pitching matchups will remain the same: Pirates rookie right-hander Jared Jones will face Tigers lefty Tarik Skubal in the first game, with fellow rookie righty Paul Skenes facing Jack Flaherty in the second game.
