The Pittsburgh Pirates will keep 25% capacity for home games through the month of May, according to an official.

The team put tickets on sale for 13 games at PNC Park on Wednesday morning, starting with May 10 vs. the Cincinnati Reds through May 30 against the Colorado Rockies.

“For May games capacity is still at 25% and we are selling tickets in pods of two and four with a select amount of single tickets available,” a Pirates ticketing official wrote in an email.

Single tickets can typically be found in sections 127-132, the official said.

Some minor operational adjustments were made that allowed the Pirates to add about 100 seats in the outfield bleachers, said Brian Warecki, Pirates vice president of communications and broadcasting. With that slight increase to seating, capacity remains approximately 25%, he said.

Gov. Tom Wolf increased occupancy for outdoor spaces, such as PNC Park, to 50% capacity earlier this month in an effort to ease some covid mitigation orders.

The tickets that went on sale Wednesday include series against the Reds (May 10-12), San Francisco Giants (May 13-16), Chicago Cubs (May 25-27) and Rockies (May 28-30).

The Pirates have had 25% capacity since the start of the 2021 MLB season.
