Pitt men’s basketball announced its 2025-26 nonconference schedule Tuesday morning, featuring 13 games, including nine at home starting Nov. 3 against Youngstown State.

Longwood visits Petersen Events Center on Nov. 7, followed by Eastern Michigan on Nov. 10.

The Panthers then travel to Morgantown for the hardwood Backyard Brawl, facing West Virginia on Nov. 13 in what will be Pitt’s first road game of the season.

Rounding out the month of November are home games vs. Bucknell (Nov. 17), Quinnipiac (Nov. 23) and Ohio State (Nov. 28).

On Nov. 20, the Panthers play Central Florida in a neutral-site game in Daytona Beach, Fla., as part of the Legends Classic.

Pitt has another neutral-site game, concluding its nonconference slate, Dec. 21 in Hershey against Penn State.

The Panthers host Texas A&M on Dec. 2 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge, while Hofstra visits Petersen Events Center on Dec. 7.

From there, Pitt travels to Villanova on Dec. 13 before returning home to play Binghamton on Dec. 17.

Six of the Panthers’ 13 nonconference opponents this season are against power-conference foes.

But the first action of 2025-26 for Pitt will be an exhibition match vs. former Big East rival Providence on Oct. 19, at home.

The Panthers also are expected to announce one additional exhibition game.

Dates and times for Pitt’s 18-game ACC schedule will be revealed in mid-September.

Duke and Louisville will visit Petersen Events Center this season as part of the Panthers’ home league schedule, as will Syracuse, Notre Dame, SMU, Florida State, NC State and Wake Forest.

Pitt will travel to Syracuse, Clemson, Cal, Stanford, Miami, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia and Boston College.
