Pitt basketball adds another 4-star 2026 recruit in power forward Chase Foster
Jeff Capel and Pitt men’s basketball struck again Wednesday, landing a second four-star Class of 2026 prospect this weekend in power forward Chase Foster.
Foster, a 6-foot-8, 210-pound recruit out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., joins his teammate, guard Jermal Jones, who announced a commitment to the Panthers on Friday.
Villanova, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Florida State, Illinois, USC, Washington and a long list of other high-major suitors offered Foster, ranked by On3/Rivals as the No. 38 player nationally within his class.
Foster also ranked as the No. 5 overall player in Florida and No. 6 power forward on the market.
Like Jones, Foster transferred to IMG Academy, having previously played high school basketball at Edmondson-Westside in Baltimore, Md.
