Pitt’s men’s basketball team will open its season Nov. 25 against St. Francis (Pa.) in the first of at least three nonconference games at Petersen Events Center. Tip-off for the opener is 7 p.m.

The Panthers also will play Drexel on Nov. 28 and Gardner-Webb on Dec. 12, and are expected to schedule another nonconference opponent, in addition to its previously announced ACC/Big Ten Challenge game at Northwestern on Dec. 9.

Pitt will open ACC play Dec. 16 at Miami, with the conference home opener set for Dec. 22 against Louisville.

The Panthers also will play Notre Dame, Florida State, Syracuse, Duke, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, N.C. State, Clemson and Wake Forest at home, with road trips scheduled for Duke, Georgia Tech, Boston College, Wake Forest, Louisville, Syracuse, Virginia, N.C. State and Clemson.
