Pitt boosts 2026 recruiting class to 4 prospects after getting commitments from 2

Pitt secured verbal commitments from two members of the class of 2026 over the weekend, giving coach Pat Narduzzi four among prospects who will be seniors in high school next season.

Defensive back Marcus Jennings (6-foot-3, 190 pounds) pledged to enroll next year after his senior season at Cass Technical in Detroit. He is ranked 94th among safeties nationally and the 21st overall prospect in Michigan, according to 247Sports.

Dylan Wester (5-9, 160) caught 37 passes for 675 yards and six touchdowns last season for Booker High School in Sarasota, Fla. He is categorized an athlete by 247Sports, where he is ranked 63rd in the nation. He is 100th among all prospects in Florida.

Pitt also has verbal commitments from quarterback Angelo Renda of Southlake, Texas, and safety Isaac Patterson of Westerville, Ohio.
