Pitt’s athletic department has entered into a multi-year broadcast partnership with Entercom, a media and entertainment company, that will keep the university’s football and basketball games on 93.7 FM for the 10th consecutive season.

The station has provided play-by-play for both teams since the 2010-11 seasons, but for the first time, game broadcasts, including pregame, halftime and postgame shows, will be entirely produced by the station. A two-hour football pregame show and one-hour “Panther Reaction” postgame call-in show will be part of the package.

The station also will air a one-hour pregame basketball show, including a 30-minute “Poni and Page Show,” featuring co-host Andrew Fillipponi and former Panthers basketball star Julius Page.

Further programming will include the launch this fall of two weekly shows, “The Panther Insider Show,” on 93.7 FM and “The Heather Lyke Show,” featuring the school’s athletic director on 1020 AM.

The weekly shows with football coach Pat Narduzzi and basketball’s Jeff Capel will continue.
