Pitt finally gets a shot at No. 16 Florida State; Clemson game postponed
After two previous postponements, Pitt’s game with Florida State has been rescheduled perhaps for the final time. The Panthers will play the No. 16 Seminoles at 4 p.m. Saturday at Petersen Events Center, according to a revised schedule announced Wednesday by the ACC.
The game had been scheduled for Jan. 10 and rescheduled for Feb. 6, but both games were postponed because of covid-19 complications within the Florida State program.
But that bit of good news is countered by Pitt’s eighth postponement of the season, the Panthers’ game Sunday at the Pete against Clemson, which has positive covid tests within its program.
Four Pitt games have not been rescheduled — Boston College, Duke, Louisville and Clemson.
