Pitt continued to stack offensive linemen in its class of 2021 on Tuesday when Kyle Fugedi of Livonia, Mich., confirmed his verbal commitment on Twitter.

With only 15 days remaining before Dec. 16 when recruits can start signing national letters of intent, Pitt has collected verbals from 22 players. Six are offensive linemen.
Nine of those prospects are linemen, including defensive players Dorien Ford of Baldwin, Elliot Donald of Central Catholic and Nahki Johnson of West Mifflin. Donald and Johnson are four-star recruits. Fugedi is one of 18 three-stars in Pitt’s class.
Fugedi, who will start out at left tackle, said he was attracted to Pitt’s scholarship offer and by its coaching staff.
“All of the coaches at Pitt were honest with me and got to the point,” he said Tuesday morning. “They showed me what the future of me being at Pitt was going to be like.”
Fugedi and tight end Gavin Bartholomew committed to Pitt on consecutive days Sunday and Monday, lifting Pitt’s class to 20th in the nation (fifth in the ACC), according to Rivals.com. If that ranking doesn’t fall off, Pitt will have its highest recruiting ranking since at least 2002, and coach Pat Narduzzi will have the highest-rated class among the seven he has signed.
Fugedi (6-foot-6, 307 pounds) has three Power 5 offers — Pitt, Indiana and Kentucky — among his eight. Hehad committed to Miami (Ohio), and he also has offers from MAC schools Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Kent State.
