With third-team All-American Izzy Abanikanda likely ticketed for the NFL Draft and Vincent Davis and C’Bo Flemister finishing up their senior seasons at Pitt, coach Pat Narduzzi needs to replenish his stock of running backs — for 2023 and beyond.

To that end, Narduzzi received his second verbal commitment from a high school senior running back Tuesday when T.J. Harvison of Bowden, Ga., indicated he plans to enroll next year. Harvison added the handle @Pitt_FB to his Twitter bio.

Harvison joins running back Montravius Lloyd of St. Petersburg, Fla., in Pitt’s 15-man class of 2023. Harvison and Lloyd are two of 13 3-star prospects in Pitt’s class, according to Rivals.com rankings.

Harvison (6-foot-1, 200 pounds) has scholarship offers from several schools, including Air Force, Ole Miss, Kansas, Boston College, Virginia, Kentucky, Colorado and Michigan State.

Commitments are non-binding until prospects can sign national letters of intent Dec. 21. Pitt’s class is ranked 53rd in the nation — 11th in the ACC — by Rivals.
