Pitt-Greensburg has added a wealth of playing experience and depth to its men’s soccer coaching staff.

Former standouts Matt Bisceglia and Nick Piccirilli have joined coach Marc Bucci’s staff this season.

Bisceglia played goalkeeper at Kiski Area and Robert Morris. Piccirilli, a Center graduate, was an attacking forward at Seton Hill.

Bisceglia also has coached internationally, with Watford FC, Crystal Palace FC, and Oxford United, and locally with GK Icon Pittsburgh, PA West ODP and the AFFC.

Piccirilli is the SCS United Academy Director for the 8U, 9U and 10U programs. His coaching experience includes the New York Redbulls Regional Development Schools and Training Programs and the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program. He also has coached at the high school level at Central Valley and Avonworth.

“Matt and Nick represent everything I want in a coach and specifically, who are needed to help change the culture of this program,” Bucci said in a news release. “I look forward to many successful seasons with them, and I know we can do great things together.”

UP begins the season at 5 p.m. Friday at home against Muskingum.
