Pitt lands Brooklyn, N.Y., running back Israel Abanikanda
Pitt added a second running back to its class of 2020 on Monday when Israel Abanikanda tweeted his intention to enroll next year.
Abanikanda (5-foot-11, 196 pounds) is entering his senior season at Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He is ranked a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and chose Pitt over scholarship offers from 16 other schools, including Boston College, Syracuse, Duke, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
He joins Henry Parrish of Miami as the two running backs in Pitt’s current recruiting class that now numbers 16 prospects.
