Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi secured his sixth commitment in the Class of 2027 on Wednesday after Texas three-star tight end Ryker Reynolds announced his pledge on X.

Reynolds (6-foot-4, 240 pounds), who visited Pitt during spring practice last month, also had offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Duke and SMU, among others.

A football and baseball player who converted from the offensive line at La Porte High School in Texas, Reynolds played tight end, middle linebacker and long-snapper as a junior last fall. According to MaxPreps, he had eight catches for 87 yards and a touchdown as the Bulldogs finished 9-2 overall last season and 7-0 in league play.

Reynolds joins quarterback Kevin Verpaele, running back Tyler Reid, receiver Jacob Thomas, offensive linemen Colin Urrea and linebacker Walter Hudson in Pitt’s 2027 recruiting class.
