Pitt’s transfer portal class is up to five with Monday’s addition of forward Baye Ndongo from Georgia Tech.

Multiple recruiting outlets, including On3, reported Ndongo was joining the Panthers, following Syracuse point guard Naithan George, who also committed Monday.

Along with those two, Pitt has also landed forward Dominique Diomande (BYU/Washington), plus guards Jonathan Powell (North Carolina/West Virginia) and Jalil Bethea (Alabama/Miami) so far this spring.

The 6-foot-9 Ndongo, a Senegal native, played the last three seasons at Georgia Tech, appearing in 90 games.

A double-digit scorer in all three of his collegiate campaigns, last season he averaged 11.8 points and 8.1 rebounds.

Ndongo averaged at least eight boards per game in every season with the Yellow Jackets.

In 2024-25, he averaged a career-best 13.4 points, and as a freshman, his scoring average was 12.4.

Offensively and in terms of rim protection, Ndongo helps replenish a Pitt frontcourt that lost forwards Roman Siulepa and Papa Amadou Kante plus center Kieran Mullen to the transfer portal.
