Pitt men’s soccer is again bound for the College Cup.

The Panthers scored a 1-0 victory over Portland in double overtime Saturday afternoon in an Elite Eight matchup.

Midfielder Valentin Noel scored on a cross from forward Bertin Jacquesson in the 114th minute to seal the victory at Pitt’s sold out Ambrose Urbanic Field.

Pitt (12-4-5) outshot Portland, 27-5, in regulation but wasn’t able to find the net.

Pitt will play the winner of Indiana and UNC-Greensboro in Cary, N.C., on Friday in the College Cup, soccer’s version of the Final Four.
