Pitt no longer has an open date Saturday after the ACC announced several schedule changes Wednesday afternoon.
The Panthers will play at No. 14 Virginia for a 4 p.m. tip-off, a replacement for the Florida State game that was postponed because of covid-19 complications. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Virginia was set to play Louisville on Saturday, but that game was postponed due to a positive covid within the Louisville program. Pitt was scheduled to play at Virginia on Feb. 24, which is now at open date for the Panthers.
Also, Pitt’s previously postponed game at Georgia Tech will be played Feb. 14, also with a 4 p.m. tip. It will be telecast on the ACC Network.
The ACC has not rescheduled Pitt’s other two postponed games (at Duke and Florida State at the Petersen Events Center).
Pitt will welcome No. 16 Virginia Tech to the Pete on Wednesday night and is scheduled to visit Louisville next Wednesday.
