Pitt’s home-and-home with Wisconsin was announced in 2019 under former athletic director Heather Lyke.
Not since 1967 have the two schools met in football, with Pitt owning a 3-0 all-time record against Wisconsin, having also played the Badgers in 1937 and 1938.
For now, the Panthers’ nonconference schedule next season comprises Central Florida and Miami (Ohio), both at Acrisure Stadium.
Pitt is set to face Boston College, Louisville, Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia Tech in ACC play.
