Pittsburgh City United FC will make its home debut at 6 p.m. Sunday when it hosts Germantown FC at Highmark Stadium.

The team will limit stadium capacity to 60%.

Tickets are $15. Children under 12 are admitted free of charge.

“This Sunday may be our only home game with fans physically in attendance for the remainder of the season, outside of the U.S. Open qualifying rounds,” Team Owner Michael Anton Monsour said in a statement.

“Although a decision like this can prove costly for an organization from an economical perspective, that has never been our driving force as an organization.

“We are a team for the healthcare workers that keep us safe, this is our driving principle and in order to adhere to that principle, we must put the safety of our fans and players first. We hope this effort is embraced by our supporters as we look to introduce an exciting interactive experience for our future home games this season.”

Pittsburgh City United (1-0-0) is coming off a 3-2 win over division rival FC Inter Atlantic in its season opener and has been selected to play in the qualifying rounds of the 2022 U.S. Open Cup.

Tickets are available on the Pittsburgh City United website.

Pittsburgh City United competes in the United Premier Soccer League’s Northeast Conference, Beltway North. UPSL is a semi-professional development soccer league sanctioned through United State Adult Soccer Association.
