Russell Cicerone scored twice, and Alex Dixon added a goal as Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC earned a 3-0 victory over New York Red Bulls II on Friday night at MSU Soccer Park in Montclair, N.J.

It was Dixon’s 48th career goal in the USL Championship and helped the Hounds snap a six-game winless drought.

Team captain Kenardo Forbes added his 50th career assist for the Riverhounds, who improved to 8-6-3

Jahmali Waite made one save to secure the shutout.

The Red Bulls fell to 1-13-3.

The Riverhounds, who moved into fourth place in the Eastern Conference, will return to action Wednesday when they host Indy Eleven (6-6-3) at Highmark Stadium.
