Pittsburgh Riverhounds shut out Indy Eleven

Albert Dikwa scored in the 79th minute to give Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC a 1-0 victory over Indy Eleven (6-8-3) on Wednesday night at Highmark Stadium.

It was Dikwa’s sixth goal of the season. Jahmali Waite made one save and recorded his second straight shutout.

The Riverhounds’ Dane Kelly also set a USL Championship record for all-time regular season appearances at 243 games.

The Riverhounds (9-6-3), who are tied with Detroit for fourth place in the Eastern Conference, will return to action at 7 p.m. Saturday when they host Miami FC (6-6-6) at Highmark Stadium.
