Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson looks to pass against the Cincinnati Bengals during the second half of an NFL football game, Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019, in Seattle.

Hard as it may be to do, we need to move on from the Pittsburgh Steelers season-opening beat down in New England.

After all, a good Seattle Seahawks team is coming to Heinz Field Sunday afternoon.

Former ESPN anchor Steve Bunin joins me to preview the contest. A native of Washington state, Bunin now is an anchor at KING-TV. He’s followed the Seahawks his entire life.

You can tell. Because he’s still bitter over the Super Bowl XL loss to the Steelers in Detroit.

And he freely admits that!

After I let Steve vent for a while, we get into this weekend’s game. The Bengals gave Seattle a surprisingly difficult time last week. The Hawks ended up sneaking away with a 21-20 win.

Steve tells us if that close call was more a matter of the Seahawks overlooking the Bengals, or if the Bengals stepped up their game.

We also get a scouting report of Russell Wilson, the allegedly improved Seattle offensive line, the addition of Jadeveon Clowney, and dangerous rookie receiver DK Metcalf.

And was there any fire to the smoke of Antonio Brown going to Seattle before he went to New England?

Also, for hockey fans, Steve gives us the latest on the new NHL franchise piloted by Ron Francis.
