Marc-Andre Fleury’s final preseason game jersey officially went up for auction Monday — and bids are already up to $16,000.

The hockey legend, who is five months removed from retiring as an NHL goaltender, unofficially retired Sept. 27 as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins via a 4-1 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets at PPG Paints Arena.

Now, the jersey he wore is up for auction until 12 p.m. Thursday through PensGear.com. Those interested must log in to bid.

There were four bids as of Tuesday afternoon, with the current bid at $16,029. People must bid at least $10,000, according to the bidding rules on the jersey. All bids are legally binding.

The jersey is a size 58 G and made by Fanatics. Though it’s not autographed, it is game-worn by Fleury himself.

PensGear.com stated that the jersey is authenticated and certified, complete with a hologram displaying a unique alphanumeric code to verify its authenticity.

According to the site, shipping is limited to the United States and Canada, and the winning bidder must finalize the purchase within 72 hours.
