Rain again cancels Friday evening racing at Lernerville Speedway
Rain has yet again forced Lernerville Speedway officials to cancel Friday night racing.
The announcement came Friday morning after steady precipitation began to fall late Thursday and continued to drench the area.
The forecast calls for additional showers well into the day Saturday.
Racing is scheduled to resume next Friday, May 13, for the “Willie & Conda McConnell Memorial” featuring the Zimmer’s United Late Model Series.
They will join the Fab4, including the Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars, Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds and Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks divisions.
Pit gates will open at 4 p.m., followed by grandstand gates at 5. Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 6:50, and racing will start at 7:30.
The track action will be livestreamed on Lernerville TV. The Pre-Race Show will go live at 6:30 and provide a preview of the evening’s races.
Single-race passes for Lernerville TV are $20, and a monthly subscription is $30.
Additional information, a race schedule, and tickets for the weekly races and all other events can be found at Lernerville.com.
