Charges related to domestic violence against the wife of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins were dropped earlier this month, according to a Friday report from TMZ.com.
Court records from Clark County, Nevada, indicate the case against Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins was dismissed Jan. 10. Police had responded to a July incident at a Las Vegas hotel in which Haskins suffered “substantial injuries.” According to a police report obtained by TMZ at the time, Gondrezick-Haskins allegedly punched Haskins in the mouth, resulting in a split upper lip and partial missing tooth. Haskins was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
In a social-media post soon after the story broke, Haskins denied he’d suffered any damage to his teeth.
Haskins reported on time for the start of Steelers’ training camp the following week and was part of the 53-man roster the entire season without incident.

The couple married last March, per TMZ. Gondrezick-Haskins had faced charges of domestic violence battery.
Haskins, 24, signed with the Steelers one year ago to the day Friday. A former first-round pick and star at Ohio State, Haskins was released by Washington before the end of his second NFL season. He impressed the Steelers with his arm strength and served as the No. 3 quarterback all season.
Haskins and Mason Rudolph separately each said they were told each would be given the opportunity to win the Steelers’ starting quarterback job in 2022. Ben Roethlisberger is expected to formally announce his retirement in the coming weeks.
