Report: Penguins sign forward Justin Brazeau to 2-year contract
According to Puckpedia, the Pittsburgh Penguins signed unrestricted free-agent forward Justin Brazeau to a two-year contract with a salary cap hit of $1.5 million on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Brazeau (pronounced BRAZ-oh) split the 2024-25 campaign between the Boston Bruins and Minnesota Wild. In total, he played in 76 games last season and scored 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists) while averaging 11 minutes, 52 seconds of ice time per contest.

Per the LinesLinesLines account on the social media outlet formerly known as Twitter, Brazeau opened 70 games on the right wing and six games at left wing.
Undrafted, the right-handed Brazeau (6-foot-6, 227 pounds) just completed a two-year contract with a salary cap hit of $775,000.
A native of New Liskeard, Ontario, Brazeau has previously crossed paths with Penguins president of hockey operations Kyle Dubas. When Brazeau broke into professional hockey in 2020, he skated for Toronto Maple Leafs minor league affiliates when Dubas served as general manager of that franchise.
