The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are headed to the playoffs for the fifth straight season.

The Riverhounds clinched a berth in the USL Championship postseason when eighth-place FC Tulsa tied Louisville City FC on Wednesday night. That guaranteed the Riverhounds could finish no worse than the seventh and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Riverhounds (15-7-6) are tied for fourth place in the conference with Birmingham Legion FC with 54 points. The Riverhounds have six games left in the regular season, including a home game with Louisville on Saturday night.

Riverhounds coach Bob Lilley has never failed to reach the postseason or have a club finish with a record below .500 in his 22-year head coaching career with stops in Hershey, Montreal, Vancouver, Detroit and Rochester.
