Three games into the season, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds have their first goal, but they’ve still yet to secure their first win.

Louisville FC scored a pair of second-half goals to send the Riverhounds to a 3-1 loss Saturday afternoon at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville.

After being shut out in their first two games, the Riverhounds are off to an 0-3 start.

Lousiville took a 1-0 lead just before halftime when a deflected pass by Ray Serrano popped free to Wilson Harris behind the Riverhounds defense for a goal in the 50th minute.

The Riverhounds found the equalizer early in the second half in the 59th minute. Junior Etou forced a turnover near the left sideline and got the ball to Babacar Diene, who crossed to Edward Kizza for the team’s first goal of the season.

Louisville scored the decisive goal in the 64th minute. Illal Osumanu took down Serrano in the penalty area and Sean Totsch converted the penalty to make it 2-1.

Serrano tacked on an insurance goal just before the final whistle.

Riverhounds midfielder Kenardo Forbes tied the club record for career appearances with 195 held by striker David Flavius (1999-2006).

The Riverhounds are off until hosting the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday, April 6 at Highmark Stadium.
