Riverhounds settle for draw in Indianapolis
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds gave up a late goal and had to settle for a draw in a road game against the Indy Eleven on Saturday night.
The Riverhounds (2-2-4) took a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute when Albert Dikwa took a long pass from Luke Biasi, broke in on goal and steered the ball past goalkeeper Yannik Oettl. It was the team-best fifth goal of the season for Dikwa.
Jack Blake scored with nine minutes left for Indy (1-3-3), picking up a ball punched away by Riverhounds goalkeeper Jahmali Waite and chipping it into the net.
The Riverhounds play another road game next weekend, visiting Monterey Bay at 10 p.m. Friday.
