In the first three games in team history, the Pittsburgh Riveters have run the gamut of potential results.

The Riveters tied their opener and won their second game. On Wednesday night in Cleveland, they experienced their first loss.

The Cleveland Force scored a trio of second-half goals to send the Riveters (1-1-1) to a 3-2 defeat.

Making her Riveters debut, Shaler graduate Alexis Tylenda helped stake the team to a 2-0 lead with a goal and an assist in the first half.

In the 25th minute, Tylenda set up Kennedy Neighbors for a goal and about six minutes later, she headed in a cross from Olivia Damico.

Hannah Pachan began the comeback for Cleveland (1-0-2) with a goal from the penalty spot in the 51st minute. Reagan Pentz tied it about six minutes later and Brynn Severance netted the game-winner in the 72nd minute.

The Riveters have a quick turnaround to their next game, a home contest against Flower City 1872 at 7 p.m. Friday at Highmark Stadium.
