Rob Gronkowski says he’s in a good place and isn’t planning to return to football.

The former New England Patriots tight end, who played just his senior year of high school football at Woodland Hills, took part in a children with cancer event at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. on Sunday. He shaved his head for the One Mission Buzz off Kids charity.

He was asked about how he was enjoying his retirement and if he wants to put the comeback rumors to rest.

“Whatever I say it doesn’t matter. It’ll always be crazy out there. You can put them to rest,” he said when asked by reporters. “I’m feeling good, [I’m in] a good place.”

Gronkowski announced his retirement in March, but rumors have floated about his possible return during the middle of the 2019 NFL season.

Gronk said he still enjoys being at the stadium, where he arrived in the “Gronk Bus,” allowing fans the chance to step inside and take photos, according to ESPN.

Gronk played nine seasons with the Patriots, appearing in 3 Super Bowls, and caught 521 passes for 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns during his career.
