For the second straight season, a Robert Morris men’s basketball player captured Horizon League Player of the Year honors.

Sophomore forward DeSean Goode, an IU Indianapolis transfer, won the award Monday after finishing second for RMU in points per game (15.4) while pacing the conference in rebounds (8.6).

He follows Alvaro Fogueiras, who won the award for Robert Morris in 2024-25 before transferring to Iowa.

Goode, a 6-foot-8 player from Fairmont, W.Va., also picked up first-team All-Horizon League honors, while teammate Ryan Prather Jr. earned second-team accolades. Darius Livingston was named to the league’s All-Freshman team and Nikolaos Chitikoudis earned a spot on the All-Defensive squad.

Additionally, Robert Morris swept the Horizon League’s weekly honors, with Goode taking home player of the week and Livingston named freshman of the week.

This season, Prather has averaged a team-high 15.6 points per game and 116 assists. He is also RMU’s leader in minutes per game (33.8).

Livingston, an Orlando, Fla., native, has thrived off the bench, averaging 9.6 points with a 39.2% 3-point conversion rate.

The 6-9 Chitikoudis, whom coach Andy Toole recruited from North Carolina A&T, ranks second behind Goode on the Colonials and across the Horizon League with 7.9 rebounds per game.

Goode, Prather, Livingston and Chitikoudis are all first-year players for Toole, who won Horizon League Coach of the Year in 2025, leading RMU to a conference championship, 26 wins and the NCAA Tournament.

Quickly rebuilding his squad after a transfer portal exodus, Robert Morris finished second in the Horizon League with a 21-10 (13-7) record.

As the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Horizon League Tournament, Robert Morris hosts ninth-seeded Youngstown State at home Wednesday in a first-round showdown.
