Aside from an injury and previously-announced change in practice-squad call-ups, the Pittsburgh Steelers have largely kept their list of Sunday inactives the same through four games this season.

That remained true Sunday for the game against the New York Jets, meaning rookie seventh-round pick Mark Robinson still has yet to make his NFL debut. A converted small-school college running back who switched to defense after transferring to Ole Miss last year, Robinson opened eyes during training camp. But he remains buried on the ILB depth chart behind Myles Jack, Devin Bush and Robert Spillane, and Marcus Allen is one of the Steelers’ core special teamers.

No. 3 quarterback Mason Rudolph, former starting center Kendrick Green, veteran wide receiver Steven Sims, second-year defensive lineman Isaiahh Loudermilk and undrafted rookie outside linebacker David Anenih have been inactive for each Steelers game this season.

It was announced Friday that starting cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon would not play against the Jets because of a hamstring injury suffered during last week’s loss at the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers on Saturday announced that cornerback Josh Jackson would be elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Also called up from the practice squad was outside linebacker Ryan Anderson, who will add depth to a position depleted by the injury to star T.J. Watt.
