Saint Vincent's Sydney Ball wins PAC golf title
Sydney Ball sat on a three-shot lead for the better part of six months.
The Saint Vincent sophomore, however, still closed the deal.
Ball this weekend was named MVP at the PAC Women’s Golf Championships after winning the title by nine shots at Chestnut Ridge Resort in Blairsville. The Pittsford, N.Y. native shot 82 in the final round.
The first two rounds were played during the fall season, on Oct. 1-2, at Squaw Creek Gol Club in Vienna, Ohio.
Ball finished with a 54-hole total of 259 to holf off Alexandra Jakubow of Washington & Jefferson.
Saint Vincent finished third in the team standings.
