Cole Houser and Justin Taylor hit back-to-back home runs as part of a five-run fourth inning, leading Millersville to a 9-4 victory over Seton Hill in the first game of a best-of-three NCAA Division II Super Regional on Friday in Millersville.

The teams will meet again at 11 a.m. Saturday. If Seton Hill wins, a decisive third game will follow. The winner advances to the NCAA Tournament.

Seton Hill (48-12) got off to a good start, taking a 2-0 lead into the fourth. Jack Oberdorf homered in the first inning, and Owen Sabol doubled and scored on a Noah Sweeney double in the fourth.

After taking the lead with five runs in the fourth, Millersville (44-8) added a run in the fifth and sixth and two more in the seventh.

Max Mandler had a sacrifice fly in the eighth, and Logan Vietmeier drew a bases-loaded walk in the ninth, but a comeback never materialized for the Griffins.

Starter Jon McCullough took the loss for Seton Hill, allowing six runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings.

Carson Kulina was the winner for Millersville, working into the seventh and allowing two runs on five hits with four strikeouts.
