Seton Hill pitcher Kevin Vaupel, a South Park graduate, goes to Marlins in 16th round

South Park graduate Kevin Vaupel, a left-handed starter at Seton Hill, was chosen by the Miami Marlins in the 16th round (No. 473 overall) of the MLB Draft on Tuesday.

Vaupel (6-foot-1, 210 pounds) was 6-1 with a 2.04 ERA and 1.11 WHIP in nine starts this season for Seton Hill.

In four seasons, he was 14-5 with a 3.33 ERA, striking out 186 in 165 innings.
