Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference

Seton Hill (2-3, 0-2 PSAC West) at Mercyhurst (1-4, 0-2 PSAC West)

Noon, Saturday at Saxon Stadium, Erie

Series: Tied: 3-3

Last meeting: Seton Hill 30, Mercyhurst 20 (2019)

About Seton Hill: After starting the season 2-0, Seton Hill is on a three-game losing streak. The Griffins lost to Edinboro, 17-7, last week and have not scored more than 17 points in any of their past three games.

Seton Hill’s struggles this season have been on offense. The Griffins are second-to-last in the PSAC in points per game (11.2) and 12th in total yards per game (279.6). Seton Hill is solid defensively, ranking third in yards allowed per game (271.0) and fifth in scoring defense (18.6).

Head coach: Daniel Day.

About Mercyhurst: The Lakers offense continues to struggle, having scored no more than 18 points in a game this season. The Lakers are last in the PSAC in scoring offense, averaging 9.6 points per game.

Mercyhurst will look to improve upon its offensive struggles this week, though that won’t be easy against Seton Hill. The Lakers are 14th in total yards per contest (222.2).

The Lakers fell to Cal (Pa.), 37-0, last week.

Head coach: Marty Schaetzle
