Jessica Strong has resigned as the head softball coach at Seton Hill after four seasons.

She is leaving to pursue another coaching endeavor but did not want to comment until the end of the week, when her tenure at Seton Hill is complete.

Strong guided the Griffins to a memorable season in 2022 as the team went 42-12 and earned its first trip to the NCAA Division II championship and its highest ranking in the National Fast Pitch Association poll (No. 7).

Seton Hill won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division and rallied after a 1-2 mark in the PSAC Tournament to win the Atlantic Regional and Atlantic Super Regional to advance to the national tournament.

Strong finished with a record of 110-56, counting a 7-10 mark in a covid-shortened 2020 season.
